The resort uses snow cannons to help keep the pistes open. The weather in the Alps is notoriously difficult to predict (English forecasts can be heard on local radio each morning - details in the property). However the following general guide may be useful:

December – January
Snow is usually excellent. Although temperatures are lower, the days can still be sunny and trees provide good protection from winds which can close high altitude resorts. Apart from Christmas and New Year, slopes are generally uncrowded with good lift access.
February – The most popular month
Temperatures are milder, bur still good enough to prolong good snow. The days get longer, allowing more skiing time when compared to Dec,Mar & Apr.
March & April – weather gets warmer.
If the weather is warm lower slopes will begin to get slushy in the afternoon. Late season snow has been excellent recently but skiing days tend to be shorter with many skiers using the afternoon to relax in the sun.
